Mental Health Presentation for Ocean Air's Fourth Graders

During mental health awareness week, members of the Youth Health Coalition presented to around 80 students at Ocean Air Elementary School. Emily Zhang, Mihika Juneja, Zoe Pei, and Michelle Sun all regard mental health as an important issue which school's should introduce to students at a young age in order to combat stressful experiences later in life. The Youth Health Coalition introduced the subject to the fourth graders in tangible ways, such as through origami and mood trackers, while highlighting different tactics the YHC uses to cope with stress. Overall, it was an impactful presentation!
